Excellent service and warranty replacement

I was delighted with the level of service I received from Braun, including the hassle free nature of my warranty replacement. I would choose to buy from Braun over their competitors again for the piece of mind that if the product had any issues, Braun would take care of it. Good product, great service. Thanks

Yes, I recommend this product !

easy to use

I love the way and ease by which my young brother can use it without hurting himself as he is still a teenager thus mostly used to cut himself while shaving. Now i am thinking of buying one for my hubby as well as i am impressed with the quick n neat look that it gives you

Yes, I recommend this product !

Braun BT5050

This product gives the option to set the length accurately for the perfect trim. The model comes with the option for a longer beard trim which was valuable if you like to keep your beard trimmed and tidy. I used both of the stubble and beard options and they out performed many of my previous trimmers I have owned. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Braun BT5050

The Braun Bt5050 beard trimmer was one of the best I have used. This model has matched if not bettered beard trimmers I have bought in the past for a lot more than this model. I would highly recommend it with the close shave trim as it gives the close setting you need to style your stubble the exact length of how you like it 👍🏻. Brian campbell

So I received an email from review site buzz agent asking if I would like to review and keep the BT5050 electric shaver courtesy of Braun I jumped at the chance. Thank you Braun firstly iv had my current shaver for around 10 years so an upgrade is well over due.when the shaver arrived it was quite exciting.the thing I noticed right away was how sleek and modern it looks with my old shaver I was working with 5 different heads the new one ... 2. The settings on the heads for the new shaver are set at mm lengths and also lock in to place once chosen so no chance of the length slipping while shaving and ruining your look as this has happened to me before. The second to me seems like a head for possibly shaving your head or maybe it's just for people with extreme beards and again the settings can be locked in place. The shaver is very user friendly in the shape and also the rubber coating on it gives it a non slip feeling.the shaver is also waterproof but at the time of writing this review iv not had a use for this feature.i noticed the difference between my old shaver and this one from almost the 1st stroke,it was very smooth with no tugging on the facial hair at all and it gives a very even finish. In the box you get your shaver, mains charger, 2 exchangeable heads and cleaning fluid and brush the only thing that would have made this better would have been a little stand for it. I would recommend this shaver to anyone and already have to work mates and family the fact I got this piece of equipment for FREE from Braun makes it all the sweeter [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

2nd review after trialling a few weeks

So this is my 2nd review after having the beard trimmer a while (as the title suggests). I like to give a honest review so I try and find flaws in items. I have to say I can't find one with this. If I was really nit picking I would say a UK plug or adapter would be nice, but that's it. I'm still on the first battery charge and it's going strong. So easy to clean and delivers precision trimming from full beard down to stubble. Love it, so glad I jumped on this campaign. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Braun BT5050 Review

Recently i got the opportunity to trial the Braun BT5050 and have used it for just over a month now. Prior to using the trimmer i used to go through the chore of shaving which was time consuming and 'annoying'.I didn't really consider using trimmers in the past as i had a bad experience with one where the battery would just die mid shave. However im please to say that i have taken to trimming with the Braun BT5050 very well. The trimmer allows me to keep my beard at a tidy length in less than 5 minutes in the morning. This is soo much more convenient than shaving (albeit you dont get a clean shave). The trimmer itself is lightweight and comes with 20 settings which makes it versatile for different length finishes. However it does not have a clean cut setting so dont buy if that is what your after. I use the lowest setting and it keeps a short stubble which still looks professional. It is also cordless (battery) and fits int he hand easy. I have had no issues with battery life - i have got through the week without having to charge - and even when i do need to charge it only takes 4 hours. I would recommend for Braun to include a battery indicator on future models as i often wondered if the battery was going to die on me.After shaving the unit is somewhat waterproof so you can run the head under the tap to clean it. It also comes with a handy little brush for the head unit and oil for the blades. It really does not take much effort to keep it clean which is a big plus.Overall i would reccomend the unit highly to those looking for a trimmer. Well done Braun!! My beard is Braun again

Having first sported a beard since the age of 12 (must be the werewolf genes), the intervening 23 years have seen me experimenting with various styles, lengths and cuts but wearing a beard has always been part of my identity. Still, after the initial adolescent joy and novelty wears off, pretty much every man would attest that the experience of shaving is a time consuming chore at the best of times, whilst being painful and irritating at worst. So any product that can make the grooming process smoother will always be met with applause from me. As such, being able to try out the Braun BT5050 Beard Trimmer has been a fantastic experience, one made even better by the fact that I got to try it free thanks to Braun. Although I will say right off the bat that I would happily of paid the full RRP for this product.Upon opening the box I was immediately impressed by the Braun BT5050’s look and feel. It was compact but large enough to hold comfortably and weighted perfectly for confidently fending off facial follicles. The extra’s included within the box were very welcome as well, the lubricating oil, cleaning brush and travel pouch will definitely come in handy. It also goes to show that Braun have thought about the application of their product beyond the bathroom, the ability to pack everything you’d need in a trimmer into one small package for travel is brilliant, whilst also helping with keeping everything stored together at home. After charging the trimmer as indicated for approx 8 hrs, I was raring to go. I chose not to use the additional attachment, used for trimming to a length of from 10 – 20mm and opted for the closer cut of between 1 – 10mm. Handily the mm length is indicated by the precision rotary dial with a corresponding 1 – 10 setting – simple. Wearing a full beard, I normally approach shaving in a two pronged manner, first wet shaving my neck and check areas and then using either scissors or trimmers I bring the shaped beard down to my desired length. I started without the wet shave this time to see just how close the trim was using the Braun. I’m happy to say it came pretty close to the skin, no nicks or snags to speak of. However there was still a layer of stubble and in fairness, no trimmer on the market can complete with the closeness of a wet shave, still I was pretty impressed.Switching back to wet shaving, I left the basic shape of the full beard, including side burns, moustache and chin coverage. I then set about trimming the length, starting with the sideburns, set at 6mm and then graduating to 10mm for my chin. The whole process was quick and effortless, with a slight pause for a few clicks of the rotary, it was quite literally job done!In operation, the trimmer is comparatively quiet to other trimmers I’ve used in the past. The speed of the shave and the results were impressive, being even and consistent across the whole beard. There was no drop in power over the course of the shave and I’d say the BT5050 could have easily coped with another half hour on the go.I can honestly say that if the Braun BT5050 performs as consistently well as it has done on the first impression, it will become part of my shaving routine, and I’ll be better off for it. To any men out there who proudly sport a beard that needs to be kept in check, with ease… this is the product for you. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
